O.K., Where’s the catch?

There is no catch.  You tell us what coverage you want. We do it. That’s the
way it should be.

Somewhere along the line photographers have lost the meaning of service. WE
are there to serve you.  This is your day! Some photographers tell you how they
want to do it , what they won’t do, how much you have to order, and what you can’t
have.   It should be the way you want it! We will do everything in our
power to please you.  There’s no catch,  hidden charges, or future commitments to
return to the same photographer.  We just want to be fair with you, provide you with
what you need, and have a great time doing it!

Wedding Prices

Prices begin at $450 plus film and processing.  This covers our time for the
ceremony and formal portraits up to 3 hours.   Additional time is available at
$75.00 per hour for the reception. A location change during the wedding day is
$25.00.

Professional film, proofs, and negatives will be provided to you at $40 per
roll of film.  Contrary to most photographers’ policy in the history of
photographing weddings,
you will KEEP the negatives and proofs!

We believe you have paid for them and you should have possession of what you
paid for.  Who knows where any of us will be in 10 years?

Engagement and Bridal Portraits

Engagement and Bridal portraits are available at another sitting for an
additional $100.  You will also keep the proofs and negatives for these
portraits.

We will provide you with two black and white prints for the newspaper.
Additional prints are available at reprint prices.

We suggest you allow at least two weeks for the completion of prints for the
newspaper and announcements.

Additional Services

Additional services are available at $75.00 per hour. If you would like
coverage of other events, just ask!

Mileage for out of town weddings is 50 cents per mile plus lodging and other
necessary expenses. We consider the local area a 40 mile radius.

Separate locations are an additional $25.00

Reprints

We believe that professional quality prints don’t have to cost a fortune.  We
can have excellent color reprints made of your wedding photographs for $9.00
per 8” x 10” sheet, divided any way you want!  Any color negative can be made
into a black and white photograph.
 

 

Each unit is $9.00

Four or more units of the same negative are $7.00
Larger than 8 x 10 are available, ask for current quotes.

Retouching is available at a reasonable cost.  Please ask for quotes of
current prices.

You are not required to place an order for reprints.
There is no time limit or minimum order.

We suggest that you order reprints from our Professional lab and that you will
notice quite an improvement over one hour labs.  The reasonable price will
allow you to make as many as you want.

Albums

You are welcome to order wedding albums from our catalogs at cost.  Yes,
really, we  give you the catalog and all the encouragement you need. You pick, what
you want, how much you want, and when you want.

Wedding Coverage Suggestions

The photographer will probably bring an assistant.  You may be asked to
provide a person familiar with names and family members to help with organizing
groups.  We prefer to take the formal group portraits beginning two hours
before the ceremony when everyone is fresh and beautiful.  This usually allows
enough time for an average size wedding.

Depending on the size of your wedding and the course of events planned, you
may need us to stay longer than the agreed upon time.  We will stay as long as we
are able, additional time will be billed at $75.00 per hour.

We will reserve a minimum of 5 hours the day of your wedding. This doesn't
mean you have to pay for 5 hours if you don't use it.  We are allowing some extra
time, in case something delays your events.  You will only be asked to pay for
the amount of time used, with a $450 minimum.

Our experience indicates that 5 hours  will cover two hours before the
ceremony, the ceremony itself and about an hour and a half at the reception.
Your wedding planner can help you with the time needed for events. Elaborate
weddings will require more time.  We would like to discuss the number of people
involved and events planned because each wedding is unique, and times will
vary.  We will be happy to give an estimate of costs, with the base cost being
$450 for 3 hours, additional hours at $75.00 per hour.

Deposit

We require a deposit of half of the fee based on the estimated number of hours
agreed on at the time of your reservation.

Your reservation can be cancelled at any time.  A full refund will be given up
to 30 days before the reserved day. Dates can be changed providing there is
space available.  We understand that sometimes life changes and we will try to
remain flexible.
