Cry of the Hawk - Having left his family to fight against the Union army at Pea Ridge, Missouri farmer Jonah Hook is captured at the Battle of Corinth. Becoming a Galvanized Yankee, Jonah is shipped west to fight Indians at the Battle of Platte Bridge. Upon returning home Hook finds his family has become prisoners of a fanatical Mormon zealot. Once more this solitary man rides west, this time to find his family.

Dream Catcher - Reunited with his son Jeremiah, Hook now follows the faint but tantalizing trail of Mormon leader Jubilee Usher who still holds Jonah’s wife, Gritta. Accompanied by his faithful friends, Hook reaches his fateful rendezvous with Usher’s outlaws for Gritta’s unforgettable rescue.
