Green and White Salad
  • Broccoli flowerets
  • Cauliflower flowerets
  • 1 small red onion, separated into rings
  • 2 Tablespoons sunflower seeds
Dress with Ranch dressing. Mix all in desired proportions! This is especially pretty for Christmas, as it is already 'dressed' for the season!

Christmas Coffee
  • 1 cup strongly brewed, hot coffee
  • 1/2 cup half and half, frothed
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 sugar-free candy cane, to stir and sweeten with
Mix the first three ingredients. Lightly stir with candy cane! An alternate method is to get peppermint flavored coffee beans, often available at this time of year. When using these, I add 1 package Splenda, and still stir with the peppermint stick. This is my absolute favorite coffee, and look forward to this treat, all year!
