I have read the article in the ESPN mag. I got it in the mail today.  I used to play baseball religiously and I never thought twice about the bat that we used.  I always thought that it was better than the wood bats. Hey what did I know?  I just wish that there was something that could be done to go back and relive that day over again.  I couldn't even imagine loosing one of my children before me.  I plan on coaching my sons team in the near future. They are only 8, 6, and 2 and my two girls are only 3 and 1 but none of them will be playing with anything but wood. My prayers are with you and your family to keep up the fight and to be strong as the time goes by.
