I just read the article about Brandon in the newest issue of ESPN 
magazine.  I rarely read my son's  magazine but happened to today.  I was 
very moved by the article and by your son.  I have a son that just finished 
his pitching career this past May when he graduated from high school.  He 
pitched from the age of 7 and lucklily never was injured but it always was 
in the back of my mind.  Several times the ball was hit right back to him 
and I often wondered why wood bats were not used.  I just want to say that 
I can never know what you are feeling but I commend you for what you are 
doing.  Today's boys are so much stronger than in the past and aluminum 
bats are just too dangerous.  Keep up your campaign...you never know what 
might happen and the changes you can make.
