Description

Verdict: Very good rose and one of our best yellows. The only yellow with decent fragrance & decent bloom life.

Growth habit : 3 to 4 ft tall and wide

Leaves: 

Disease Resistance: Blackspot is only a problem here on new or stressed plants. Powdery mildew is the main problem and I try to spray the roses that get pm with fungicide every 2 weeks or so when we have cool, dry nights. -- will get pm if not sprayed here. Not a pm magnet but it will get a touch of the stuff.

Hardiness: Good - always some green cane above the snowline and mulch.

Blooms

Fragrance: Moderate and sometimes a little better

Flushes: Good - 20 to 30 blooms

Repeat: Average - 6 weeks

Vase life: Good - about a week

Silly Stuff

 Helmut Schmidt is the only other yellow we have with good bloom life and he doesn't have much fragrance.
