Description

Verdict: Excellent rose in spite of the color - with a fragrance like that and being a bloom factory too... you get to where you like the color :)

Growth habit : 3 to 4 ft tall x 3 ft wide - not the earliest starter in spring but not among the late ones either.

Leaves:

Disease Resistance: Blackspot is only a problem here on stressed plants. Powdery mildew is the main problem and I try to spray the roses that get pm with fungicide every 2 weeks or so when we have cool, dry nights. FC will get pm if not sprayed here. Not a pm magnet but it will get a touch of the stuff.

Hardiness: Good - a few inches of lawn clippings and I don't worry about FC.

Blooms

Fragrance: Strong - one of the best

Flushes: Good - 30 to 40

Repeat: Average or a bit faster - 5 to 6 weeks

Vase life: Good - about a week

Silly Stuff

 Though FC isn't a favorite color, it is the only rose I rated 10s in all categories at the Hortiplex database.
