To connect to the Internet you will need to do two things: 1. Install and configure the Windows 95 dial-up adapter. This lets your computer's modem talk to ours; 2. Configure Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser and the Exchange email client. We provide registered Windows 95 users with Internet Explorer 2.0 which includes the Internet Wizard setup tool. This software is free to owners of Windows 95. You are free to acquire and install other Internet software, such as Netscape. There are many such shareware/freeware Internet programs available for downloading on the Internet. These instructions assume that you have properly configured Windows 95 for use with your modem. Note: The Internet setup procedure will vary slightly depending on the distribution and version of Windows 95 you have and which components were installed during the Windows 95 setup.
