MACINTOSH PAGES
Mac section of support guide Written during my early days as a Mac user, this guide was designed to explain the workings of the installation software provided by Internet Montana.
Internet Setup for Macintoshes Technically, this document was to assist Macintosh users in configuring their MacTCP and ConfigPPP in order to access the Internet. It has since been superceded by the two documents below, written specifically for Bozeman and Billings, each location using a different phone number and script.
Mac Internet Setup for Billings
Mac Internet Setup for Bozeman
Macintosh Internet Software additions Internet Montana upgraded the Macintosh software package in early November. To provide information on the newer software as well as provide links to the software for earlier IMT subscribers, I created this page. Technically it is an addon to the Guide to the Internet mentioned previously.
Links to Macintosh Sites on the Web While working on the Macintosh setup and software package web pages, I came across a number of interesting web sites. So I made a web page with links to those sites.
WINDOWS 3.1
Internet Software Upgrades for Windows Another extension of the Internet Guide, this page reviews some of the upgrades to the software originally provided to Internet Montana customers.
Reviews, download links, and instructions to install and configure the software are included. The present page reviews Eudora 1.52 and Netscape 2.01.
WINDOWS95
Windows95 Internet Setup for Internet Montana This is the instructions to setup Windows95's DialUp adaptor and configure IMT's software to establish a PPP connection. These instructions are also designed for customers upgrading their Windows operating system to Windows95.
Dial Up Script Setup To change the login from the manual login requiring username and password entry per call to an automated process, this page provides instructions and a script to use.
Internet Montana Setup with Microsoft's Internet Wizard(this page is not available yet) To setup a connection using Microsoft's Internet software using the Mail Exchange and Internet Explorer software, use these instructions. Internet Montana is in the process of using this software as the primary means for new customers to establish their PPP connection to the server.
