We are sad to report that Judy Bell,
the contact
person for the 62 reunion,
passed away on September 10, 2001.

Obituary: Judith ‘Judy’ Bell
Judith “Judy” Rae Bell, 58, of Billings, passed away peacefully in
her sleep, Sept. 10, 2001.
Judy was born in Sidney in 1943. She moved to Billings in her early teens and
graduated from West High in 1962. Judy retired from the Railroad Retirement
Board, where she was district manager for 33 years.
Judy loved life. She loved learning. She enjoyed photography, cooking, reading,
gardening and the theater. She ventured with many special friends, traveling all
over the world. Judy loved to create special moments for her grandchildren,
daughters, family and friends. She volunteered for several organizations.
Judy is survived by her two daughters, Michele Holmes (Shawn) of Seeley Lake,
Krista Keehn (Shane) of Billings; her mother and stepfather Doris and Clarence
Schraer of Billings; sisters, Diane Morrow (Greg), Linda Scott (Bob), Patti
Martin, all of Billings, and Theresa Cornelius (Chris) of Albuquerque, N.M. Judy
was blessed with five wonderful grandchildren: Ashley, Shelby, Paige (Michele),
Chez and Jese (Krista).
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Bell, and brother, Mike Schraer.
Mom, we are glad you took to time to get to know everyone. You touched the
hearts of many people. We know you are resting peacefully. You will be missed
and thought about each day. We love you very much. Rest peacefully now.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m. at Smith West
Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, One
St., Jude Place Bldg., PO Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis TN 38148-0552. As a
tribute to Judy and her love of flowers, please bring a flower from your garden.
Vases will be available. Cremation has taken place.
