When & How We Bill

For Dial-up accounts:
Because your rates may vary each month depending on how much time your spend online, Internet Montana bills on the first day of the month, for the previous month's usage. For example, for a bill released on January 1st, the bill is actually for hours used online in December.

For DSL accounts:
DSL charges are a flat rate and billed at the beginning of each month. For example, a bill released on January 1st will be for your DSL access throughout that January. If your DSL is activated in the middle of the month, your next bill will include a prorated amount for the first month of DSL, plus your regular current DSL fee.

Payment Methods

Following are methods by which we can accept your payments:

  1. Check, Cash, or Money Order. You may choose to receive statements by regular post or by email. Statements are mailed on the second business day of each month. However, this does not qualify for the discounted rate on dial-up accounts if you use more than 15 hours.

  2. Automatic bank account withdrawal. Withdrawals occur on the second business day of each month. A statement will be emailed to you on the day of the withdrawal.

This billing method requires a signature authorization form. Your bank will generally take 2 weeks to process your authorization for us to withdraw from your account, so we will need to have the signed form on hand on or before the 19th of the month in order to have authorization back in time for the next billing period.

  3. Automatic withdrawal from a credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. Charges occur on the second business day of each month, and a statement will be emailed on the day of the charge. Charges will appear as "Computers Unlimited" on your credit card statement.

This billing method requires a signature authorization form. Automatic billing will not start until this form is returned to our office.
