

The Cody Nite Rodeo is a part of Wyoming history.

The Cody Nite Rodeo is produced by Ivory Rodeo Company of Cody, Wyoming. Jim and Cathy Ivory are a part of rodeo history. The third generation of a rodeo family, Jim Ivory has been a part of every end of the business. Jim started his career in rodeo at a young age. He qualified in the bareback riding for the National Finals Rodeo four times and was runner-up for the World Title in 1969. Jim has competed and helped produce rodeos in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia and has had stock qualify for the NFR.

While in Australia, Jim served as a director for the Australian Quarter Horse Association. He also produced the Cody Nite Rodeo from 1978 - 81. Jim was team manager for Rodeo America with the Winston Pro Tours in 1985 - 86. Cathy Ivory is also the third generation of a rodeo family. She competed on the University of Wyoming rodeo team and in Europe. She was Miss Rodeo University of Wyoming.
